Students in chemistry classes at Hornell High School are separating mixtures using various lab techniques including filtration, magnetic extraction, distillation and evaporation. The percent composition of each mixture and percent recovery calculations ensue.

Senior government classes craft their own nations

Our senior government classes learned about the various forms of government around the world and were tasked with creating their own government.  They had to identify the type of government their country would have, its economic system and other various characteristics.
