After School Program

Hornell City School District students in grades 2-6 can take part in an after-school program called After S’Cool Club. The club takes place from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. every Monday through Thursday. The focus of this program is academic recovery in the areas of ELA, math and social-emotional learning. Students also receive a healthy snack.

If families are interested in their child being a part of the After S’Cool Club, they should contact the Intermediate School main office at (607) 324-1304, or their child’s teacher, for a registration form. Depending on the grade level the student may be placed on a waiting list.

WRRS Announcers

Students in 6th grade have the opportunity to be the announcer for the weekly Intermediate School news station WRRS. The station covers school and district events, introduces new district employees and shares other school news and updates.

Make arrangements to be an announcer with Mrs. Walter.
