The Hornell High School serves grades 7-8 junior high and grades 9-12 senior high, which are housed in the same complex.
The district provides outstanding facilities for all its students and maintains a strong commitment to technology for instructional and administrative excellence. The district features a state of the art athletic complex which includes a lighted synthetic turf field, all-weather track, lighted baseball and softball stadiums and tennis courts.
All the district facilities are in excellent condition and an ongoing capital project continues to enhance the learning environment with advanced technology and 21st century learning strategies.

Morgan Allison is the Principal for the Hornell High School. Previously, Allison was the Assistant Principal for grades 9-12, spent 14 years as a Social Studies teacher at the Hornell High School and one year at the Alfred-Almond High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Studies from SUNY Geneseo, a Master of Secondary Education in Social Studies from SUNY Geneseo, and is currently working on a CAS in Educational Administration from SUNY Brockport. Outside of school, Morgan enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her husband and three children.

- Period 3: 9:35-10:15 a.m.
- Period 4: 10:19-10:59 a.m.
- Period 5: 11:03-11:43 a.m. (Lunch 11:03-11:33 a.m.)
- Period 6: 11:37 a.m.-12:17 p.m. (Lunch 11:47 a.m.-12:27 p.m.)
- Period 7: 12:21-1:01 p.m. (Lunch 12:31-1:01 p.m.)
- Period 8: 1:05-1:45 p.m.
- Period 9: 1:49-2:29 p.m.
- Period 10: 2:33-3:10 p.m.
- Teacher day ends, Buses pick up 3:10 p.m.
Attendance
Absences must be reported to Mrs. Haynes (607) 324-1303, ext. 1516. If an absence is not reported it is listed as unexcused.
