Dear Families,
The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory, in effect from noon Tuesday, June 18th until 8:00 pm Thursday, June 20th. During this time, heat index values are expected to reach 100 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
What this means for your child:

Hot temperatures and high humidity can lead to heat-related illnesses.
-
Please take steps to keep your child cool and hydrated:
-
Encourage them to drink plenty of fluids throughout the day.
-
Dress them in lightweight, loose-fitting clothing.
-
*As a reminder all our buildings are climate controlled and all regents exams will take place as scheduled in an air conditioned environment. We are modifying outdoor activities on a case by case basis.
