  • Approval of the minutes from the meetings of July 7 and 27, 2022
  • Acceptance of the Student Activities Report of July, 31, 2022.
  • Acceptance of the Warrant Reports of July 31, 2022.
  • Has no objections to the recommendations of the Committee on Special Education and approves the authorization of funds to implement the special education programs and services consistent with such recommendations for the CSE meeting of August 8, 9, 11 and 22, 2022. The CPSE meeting of July 28, 2022 and August 10 and 22, 2022.

  • Food, Supplies and Commodities List (Arkport) 2022 8 24

Furthermore, the Board approve the sale of the items in the above-mentioned lists to the Arkport Central School District.

RESOLVED: BY: DAVIS/CLARK that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board approves the Agreement with Monroe 1 BOCES to provide tutoring services on an as needed basis for the 2022-23 school year. September 5, 2022 – June 25, 2023.

TABLED: Agenda item 4.D.2.c.: “that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board approves the SRO Agreement with the City of Hornell for the 2022/23 school year” was discussed prior to motions, Vice-President Clark inquired about the possibility of adding another SRO either through the City or through the County. After a discussion, the Board decided to table this item until the next meeting thus allowing Supt. Palotti time to discuss

this with the city. It will be revisited at the next regular meeting on September 7, 2022. 


RESOLVED: BY: DAVIS/CLARK that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board here-in awards the 22-23 Jr/Sr High Capital Outlay Bid Project contracts to the lowest responsible bidders, as follows:

Ann is also approved to work with her team on an hourly time sheet basis over the summer when requested by her building principal. Eligibility for tenure at the end of the probationary period is dependent on the employee receiving APPR ratings of H or E in 3 of the 4 preceding years (and no I rating in the final year). (BA in Elementary Education from Alfred University, MS in Education Literacy from Empire State College – NYS Professional Certification in Elementary Education PK-6. Currently working on SPED Certification)

PRESENTATIONS:

Superintendent Palotti, together with School Business Official Flaitz, Jason Schwartz (Bernard Donegan’s Office) and Troy Williams (LaBella), presented the Board with a Capital Project Master Plan (slideshow/handout) which laid out the plans for future capital projects together with timelines regarding public votes, etc.
