President Clark opened the meeting at 5:05 PM and led the Board/Public in the Pledge of Allegiance.

RESOLVED:  BY: DAVIS/MEHR that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board approves the following additions to the Fall coaching appointments:

  • Zach Haynes: Boys Soccer, 50/50 JV Head Coach
  • Caden Dunham: Boys Soccer, 50/50 JV Head Coach
  • Josh Harrison: Boys Soccer, Modified Head Coach

RESOLVED: BY: DAVIS/MEHR that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board accepts the resignation of Lindsey Marcus as Graduation Coach, effective at the end of the day on August 8, 2023.

RESOLVED: BY: DAVIS/MEHR that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board approves the four year probationary appointment of Sara Mullikin as Special Education Teacher in the tenure area of Special Education, effective September 1, 2023 at a starting salary as defined in the HEA Contract.  Sara is also hereby approved to work with her team on an hourly time sheet basis over the summer when requested by her building principal.   Eligibility for tenure at the end of the probationary period is dependent on the employee receiving APPR ratings of H or E in 3 of the 4 preceding years (and no I rating in the final year). (BS in Clinical Psychology and Early Childhood/Childhood Education Alfred University.  NYS Emergency Initial  Certification in Early Childhood and Childhood Education PreK-6).

RESOLVED: BY: MAY/DAVIS that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board approves the

four year probationary appointment of Jayson Dinger as Special Education Teacher in the tenure area of Special Education, effective September 1, 2023 at a starting salary as defined in the HEA Contract.  Jayson is also hereby approved to work with his team on an hourly time sheet basis over the summer when requested by his building principal.   Eligibility for tenure at the end of the probationary period is dependent on the employee receiving APPR ratings of H or E in 3 of the 4 preceding years (and no I rating in the final year). (BA in Psychology and MS in Childhood Education from U of R.. NYS Initial Certification in Early Childhood B-2 and Childhood Education 1-6 and SWD Early Childhood and Childhood).

RESOLVED: BY: DAVIS/MEHR that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board approves the four year probationary appointment of Halley Stiles as Elementary Teacher in the tenure area of Elementary Education, effective September 1, 2023 at a starting salary as defined in the HEA Contract.  Halley is also hereby approved to work with her team on an hourly time sheet basis over the summer when requested by her building principal.  Eligibility for tenure at the end of the probationary period is dependent on the employee receiving APPR ratings of H or E in 3 of the 4 preceding years (and no I rating in the final year). (BS in Early Childhood and Childhood Education Psychology from Alfred University.  NYS Initial Certification in Early Childhood B-2 and Childhood Education 1-6).

RESOLVED: BY: DAVIS/MEHR that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board approves the three year probationary appointment of Maureen (Molly) Liberto as English Teacher in the tenure area of English, effective September 1, 2023 at a starting salary as defined in the HEA Contract.  Molly is also hereby approved to work with her team  on an hourly time sheet basis over the summer when requested by her building  principal. Eligibility for tenure at the end of the probationary period is dependent on the employee receiving APPR ratings of H or E in 3 of the 4 preceding years (and no I rating in the final year). (AS in Independent Studies Psychology from SUNY Alfred, BA in English and BS in Literacy from Alfred University. NYS Permanent in 7-12 English).

RESOLVED: BY: DAVIS/MEHR that, upon the recommendation of Superintendent Palotti, the Board approve the limited term appointment of Catherine Rohan to return as a Special Education Teacher for the 2023/24 school year.
