Vaccination Clinic at Hornell High School: Tuesday, August 24

This Tuesday, August 24 the Hornell city School District will partner with the Steuben County Department of Health to offer another vaccination clinic open to individuals 12 years of age and older.  This clinic will occur in the cafeteria of our High School from 4:00-5:30 pm.  For students under 18, a parent will need to be present.

After registering for an appointment, complete the New York State Covid-19 vaccine form. Print and bring this confirmation page with you to the clinic. If participant is under age 18, a parent/guardian must accompany them to the clinic, bring proof of date of birth, and also complete the consent form for minors.  These forms can be found at this link: https://www.steubencony.org/pages.asp?PID=13959

As a district, we remain committed to welcoming all students back into our buildings for full time, in-person instruction but care must be taken to do so in the safest, most responsible manner possible. I am sure that you are anxious for more information and we are working to finalize our plans as soon as possible. For planning purposes, our draft plan calls for 100% in person instruction.  We anticipate learning of further guidance from the state next week.  Rather than share a draft plan at this point that would likely change within a few days when more guidance is released, we will wait until next week when we have a full picture of the expectations for schools for the start of the year.

Thank you for your patience and trust that we are carefully considering all information available prior to making any final plans.

We will share out all details with the school community via the district website and district notification system as soon as it is available.
