COVID-19 UPDATE

Today we learned an employee at the Bryant Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19. All students and employees that were contacts to this individual have been contacted, communicated with and quarantined.

The district plans to have all buildings open on Monday and thanks students, parents, teachers and staff for their daily part in supporting one another during these challenging times. Regionally, we are seeing a spike in cases and Hornell is not immune to that.

We are grateful for the ability to offer rapid testing in the district to immediately identify cases and start the contact tracing and quarantine process. We are hopeful that this expeditious work will help us slow the spread and ultimately lead to decreasing cases in the days and weeks ahead.
