Wildwood DMA produces promotional video for Hornell CSD

The Digital Media Arts class at GST BOCES Wildwood Campus spent much of the school year producing a promotional video for the Hornell City School District.

Under the direction of their instructor, Gary Acker, students recorded video from all of the district’s schools throughout the year. In the spring, students edited the video to produce the final version, which is available to view above.

DMA students Macy Weinman and Merissa Bonilla were the team leaders on the project, Acker said. Rebecca Bacon, Anna Colomaio and Kayla Eason also worked on the team. He said the project gave his students hands-on experience in video production.

"The Hornell City School District is grateful that Mr. Acker and his students were able to collaborate with us to create this video," said Superintendent Jeremy Palotti. "We are thrilled with the finished product and how it points to the great things happening here in the Hornell City School District!"

Smart Schools Investment Plan

According to New York State guidelines for the Smart Schools Bond, districts are required to post their Smart Schools Investment Plans to the district website for 30 days prior to any Board of Education action on the plan. After 30 days, the Board of Education will be asked to approve the plan. If you have feedback on the draft plan as seen here, please direct it to Jeremy Palotti, Superintendent of Schools, at 324-1302 or jeremy.palotti@hornellcsd.org.

Thank you.

Student Bus Application

This application is used for student school bus transportation arrangements for the 2017-18 school year. With our continued focus on students' safety, we will not be able to take permanent transportation information over the phone. For your child's protection, we require detailed information regarding pick-up and drop-off arrangements with a parent or guardian's signature.
